Sundial in Perryville Commemorating 2017 and 2024 Total Solar Eclipse
Perryville created a commemorative sundial for the Perry County courthouse lawn to celebrate the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse and the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. The sundial is also educational as it instructs how to read a sundial.

Perryville Solarfest had eclipse fun projects for kids. Carla Pereira from Espinho, Portugal traveled to Perryville, Missouri to view the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse event and volunteered to help teach kids more about eclipses.
